“The Spoiled Prince” spoils the children of Strumica with the support of our foundation

September 8 @ 01:59

Our citizens deserve respect, attention, and wholehearted support, but children merit all that and more. The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation, with dedication and love for our little ones, manifests this commitment through activities that enrich their lives. One such initiative was our foundation’s support for the children’s theater play, “The Spoiled Prince,” in Strumica.

Recently, on the stage of Strumica’s amphitheater in the City Park, actors Magdalena Rizova Chernich, Sasho Ristovski, and Branko Atanasov delivered an interactive performance that delighted the youngest residents of Strumica. They shared the comic and educational content of “The Spoiled Prince” and provided a memorable experience for the children. Notably, in addition to his acting role, Sašo Ristovski also served as the author and director of the play.

The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation will continue to support cultural and educational content aimed at children in the upcoming period.

The “ZAEV – One Society for All” foundation, as it has done many times before, once again supported talented students who successfully affirm Macedonian education on the world stage. This time, twelve students and their three teachers from “Jane Sandanski” Secondary School in Strumica, who participated in the international competition “Mathematics Without Borders” from June 26 to July 3, merited our support. Our foundation financially supported the trip and participation of these high school students in this prestigious world-class competition, traditionally held in Nessebar, Bulgaria.

Competing with participants from 29 countries across the globe, including Australia, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Philippines, Burma, Malaysia, Nigeria, Ukraine, Malta, Turkey, Slovenia, Serbia, and others, the students from “Jane Sandanski” – Strumica were worthy representatives of North Macedonia, earning four awards. Ivan Garvanliev won three of these awards: a gold medal in the individual competition, the “Gold Star” for being the best Macedonian competitor, and a bronze medal in the overall competition. Magdalena Mucheva won a bronze medal in the team competition. The participation of the remaining ten students in “Mathematics Without Borders” was secured through their high ranking in all three rounds preceding the final competition, which speaks to the success of the students from Strumica. Notably, the “Jane Sandanski” Secondary School has participated in this renowned international competition for eight consecutive years. We at the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation congratulate the students and professors on their achievements and wish them continued success in the future. We remain committed to supporting young and talented students from all over the country.

Global climate conditions are just one of the reasons for the increasing occurrences of floods, fires, and other natural disasters that pose significant threats to human lives and material goods. This highlights the need to enhance human and material resources for preventive action, disaster response, and mitigation of their consequences.

In accordance with the Law on Firefighting, the Voluntary Fire Fighting Society Strumica was established in January 2024. The society’s goals and tasks include participating in rescue and protection actions during natural disasters and providing logistical support to TFU Strumica, municipalities, and other institutions and entities in the protection and rescue system.

The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation recognizes that VFS Strumica is a non-profit organization reliant on membership fees, donations, sponsorships, and projects for its functionality. Therefore, the Foundation has decided to donate funds to support the Society’s functional realization of goals and tasks. This donation reaffirms our commitment to doing the right things at the right time.
