As the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation enters its fourth year, we remain committed to supporting the traditional and enduring values that have been cherished in our country for generations. One such tradition is the centuries-old practice of celebrating under masks in Strumica.
This year, our Foundation allocated 120,000 denars to support the 15th anniversary edition of the “Masked Concert” organized by the “Boro Dzoni” Music School from Strumica. The event took place last night at the “Anton Panov” National Cultural Center as part of the eight-day carnival festivities. This concert has long been one of the most anticipated and captivating events within the celebrations, as demonstrated by the two consecutive performances that consistently draw significant attention from both Strumica residents and visitors from across the country and abroad.
The financial contribution from the “ZAEV—One Society for All” Foundation is aimed at covering a portion of the concert’s costs.
At last night’s “Masked Concert,” “Across the World to Our Sugar,” 343 students from grades one through nine of the “Boro Dzoni” Music School performed, earning enthusiastic applause from the large audience. Tangentially, the grand Strumica Carnival will take place on Saturday, March 1, and will boast over 1,000 participants from domestic and international locations.
Our mission carries on.
