The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation continues to extend its support to the talented young chess players from the Chess Club “Carevi Kuli” in Strumica, who represent both their city and Macedonian chess with distinction on the international stage.
Our latest support was given to two exceptional young members of the club, Nadica Velkova and Jovan Vukašinović, who participated in the World Youth Chess Championship (for players under 10 years old), held from November 14 to 27 in Montesilvano, Italy.
These young chess players have displayed remarkable talent. Earlier this year, both achieved significant success at the State Youth Chess Championship, earning second place in their respective categories. This achievement granted them the opportunity, through the Chess Federation, to represent Macedonia at the World Championship. Notably, Nadica Velkova participated in the European Youth Chess Championship in Romania last year, while Jovan Vukašinović competed in the 2023 World Youth Chess Championship in Egypt.
At the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation, we call upon all socially responsible entities to follow our lead. Talented youth, across all fields, deserve our collective support. The more support we provide, the greater their chances of achieving success—and their success ultimately enriches us all.
