Throughout its years of operation, the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation has consistently provided financial support to Macedonian literary creators and the publication of their works. This commitment continues with the foundation’s sponsorship of the latest book by Strumica-based writer Aco Gjorgiev. The book, titled “Deshavki”, is a collection of humorous stories (anecdotes) from the Strumica region, written in the authentic Strumica dialect. This rare publication represents a continuation of a thematically similar collection, “Prikaski u tri reda i eden uvrt”, with which Aco Gjorgiev introduced himself to readers in 2023.

Aco Gjorgiev is a well-known Macedonian and Balkan aphorist and, in recent years, has also been active as a short story writer, poet, and playwright.

The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation will continue to support literary creativity in the period ahead, contributing to the affirmation and promotion of Macedonian authors.
