Young, talented athletes who successfully promote and raise the profile of Macedonian sports at home and abroad deserve ongoing financial support from institutions, foundations, and socially responsible companies. Such support provides continuous motivation and contributes to the development of sports in our country. The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation is committed to doing exactly that.
Ilijana Serafimova, a young Macedonian karate athlete who is only 18 years old, is the reigning Balkan champion and has won numerous national and international awards. She participated in the World Karate Championships, held from 11 to 19 October in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. Our foundation donated to Ilijana to cover part of the expenses of her participation in the World Championships, where she competed alongside some of the best karate athletes from around the world.
Ilijana is a member of the “Kizame” Karate Club in Skopje, her home club. In her age category, she has successfully represented our country at several international tournaments, with one of her greatest achievements being the gold medal she won at the “Marseille Open” International Tournament in France. By qualifying for the World Championships in Poland, Serafimova also secured participation in a prestigious competition in Istanbul, Turkey.
The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation continues to support young Macedonian athletes, with hopes that they will pursue new ambitions, climb new steps, and reach new heights in international sports.
