The citizens of Kuklish commemorated the religious holiday Atanasovden, celebrated annually on May 15, in honor of their patron saint, St. Atanasij, through a series of activities.
The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation, upholding true traditional values, provided financial support to the Association “Frescozhivopisie” from Kuklish. In collaboration with the local church “St. Atanasie,” the association organized the traditional oil wrestling tournament, which served as the main event in the holiday’s celebration program.
In addition to its primary purpose, the tournament also marked the centennial anniversary of oil wrestling. The Macedonian Federation for Oil Wrestling served as the technical organizer for this event.
Our foundation, in partnership with socially responsible companies, will continue to support such traditional events in the future.
