The phrase “one society for all” embodies inclusivity and encompasses individuals from all walks of life, irrespective of their ethnic, religious, social, political, or other backgrounds. This inclusivity extends to individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities, those with mental health challenges, individuals battling addiction, and even those who have transgressed the law. It is with this ethos in mind that the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation recently extended support to two institutions in Skopje and Tetovo.
Representatives from our foundation, led by Slavica Zaeva, initiated their charitable efforts at the Public Institution “Institute for Rehabilitation of Children and Youth” in Skopje. In collaboration with our partner, the socially responsible company “Eva Style,” the foundation donated textile products (clothing) valued at 28,000 denars to support the individuals under the institution’s care. This donation, made possible through a Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation and the “Institute for Rehabilitation of Children and Youth,” outlines the shared objectives and forthcoming activities between the two entities. The institute primarily focuses on providing social protection and care for individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities, mental health issues, and substance abuse challenges.
Following this, Mrs. Zaeva visited the Correctional Home in Tetovo, where the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation, in collaboration with socially responsible companies, contributed funds amounting to 50,000 denars and clothing valued at 59,000 denars to meet the institution’s needs. The Tetovo Correctional Institution serves as a semi-open facility, dedicated to the reintegration and rehabilitative treatment of minors and adult males aged 14 to 23 who have been convicted of crimes and placed under a court-ordered institutional measure, “referral to a correctional facility,” for a duration of one to five years.
