The New Year and Christmas holidays don’t just come to those who consider themselves privileged. They equally embrace everyone who considers them a part of their self. With kindness and humanity, we should share the festivities with all around us.
Embracing kindness and humanity shouldn’t be fleeting aspects of our character; they should be integral to who we are. They are not taught. They are born out of our emotions. Being truly human means listening to these emotions without constraining them within ourselves. Being truly human means opening our hearts to others as a beautiful gift that begets even more beautiful feelings.
A heart cannot be truly great without also being gentle, and filled with love and empathy. These traits aren’t symbols of weakness but of our inherent strength and virtue inherent.
At the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation, rooted in human values, we’ve initiated a series of activities to extend warm New Year’s and Christmas greetings to those they are intended for.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, under the banner of “Happiness is Shared,” we undertook an initiative to provide 300 food packages to socially vulnerable families. Owing to this collaboration, we facilitated the visit to Mavrovo for children from the “11 Oktomvri” and “25 Maj” homes in Skopje. In partnership with the Roma educational center “Ambrela,” we distributed 250 food packages to socially vulnerable families in Shuto Orizari. We supported the Humanitarian Association “Dr. Trajce Neškovski” for their pre-New Year event “A Smile for Every Child” in Gostivar. We also provided financial assistance for purchasing New Year’s packages for the children of the employees of PHI Zdravstven dom Skopje. We financially aided in acquiring sensory-didactic materials beneficial for children with disabilities at the Day Care and Individual Treatment Center “Edupraktika” in Strumica. These endeavors were made possible through collaboration with related institutions and socially responsible companies who share our vision and values.
Calendars turn, years and holidays come and go, but the essence of humanity within us should endure. In this spirit, our Foundation concludes 2023, and in the same spirit, it will embark on the journey of 2024.
