Supporting cultural events, institutions, and cultural workers is an investment in nurturing, promoting, and popularizing Macedonian culture, and concurrently one of the most important activities affirming the enduring values of our society. The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation is a steadfast supporter of these values, sponsoring numerous cultural events such as “Ohridsko Leto,” the International FCT “Risto Shishkov,” “International Festival Klasika,” the International Children’s Theater Festival “Igor Madzhirov,” “Ohrid Fest,” “Masked Concert,” the International Theater Festival “St. Joakim Osogovski,” and many more institutions and individuals.
Among our contributions is the scholarship awarded to Angelina Trencheva, an actress at the Strumica “Anton Panov” Theater, for a 12-week study stay in London, United Kingdom. Our foundation provided 180,000 denars to support this opportunity, which will take place from June to September at the prestigious “SB Acting Studios” in London. Angelina will study under the mentorship of one of today’s finest actors, triple Oscar winner Sir Daniel Day-Lewis. Beyond acquiring new knowledge in theater, film, and the entertainment industry, she will also have the chance to share her theater experience while proudly representing Macedonian culture, tradition, and the beauty of the Macedonian language in the United Kingdom.
Angelina Trencheva is a professional actress who has graced the stage for 20 years at her home theater, the NT “Anton Panov” in Strumica. Throughout her career, she has performed in 48 premieres, spanning from ancient drama to postmodern dramaturgy, collaborating with numerous directors domestically and internationally.
With the hope that Angelina’s experience will bring fresh, innovative elements to the Strumica theater scene, the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation wishes her a fruitful and successful study stay in London.
As such, our foundation and Macedonian culture continue to share an unbreakable bond.
