The health and well-being of citizens should always be a top priority and a foundation for progress in all areas of society where human potential drives growth and development.
As part of its Public Health Awareness Program, the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation continues to support initiatives that strengthen public health through education and professional development.
In alignment with this mission, the Foundation signed an agreement with Dr. Toni Baldziev, a surgeon at the General Hospital in Strumica, awarding him a scholarship for advanced surgical training at the renowned IRCAD Institute, specifically at the Center for Experimental Surgery, in Strasbourg, France, from September 21 to 27.
The Foundation will cover the full cost of participation, including €3,845 for the training, €430 for the certification, and the cost of a return flight on the Skopje–Strasbourg–Skopje route, to be arranged through a separate agreement with an authorized travel service provider.
Importantly, the scholarship agreement includes a provision requiring Dr. Baldziev to share the knowledge and skills acquired during the training with his colleagues at both the General Hospital and relevant public health institutions across North Macedonia, contributing to the broader development of medical expertise in the country.
This is not the Foundation’s first contribution to the professional development of Macedonian healthcare professionals. In fact, two years ago, scholarships were also awarded to other specialists for training at the same institute.
We extend our best wishes to Dr. Toni Baldziev for a successful and enriching experience at IRCAD and look forward to the positive impact his training will bring to the national healthcare system.
