“Ballet is a universal language that all humanity understands,” a wise saying states. Such art is worth supporting, especially when it is nurtured by young enthusiasts.
The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation has provided financial support to the first international private ballet school in our country, “Bullfrogs Ballet School,” as a sign of encouragement for their participation in the finals of the Youth America Grand Prix—the world’s largest ballet competition, held from April 22 to 27 in Tampa, Florida, USA.
According to Aleksandra Nikiforovski, the school’s artistic director, 16 young ballerinas took part in the finals of this prestigious competition, performing a choreography to A Midsummer Night’s Dream, accompanied by three ballet instructors.
Since its establishment 16 years ago, “Bullfrogs Ballet School” has consistently achieved success at renowned international ballet competitions. This is demonstrated by the first-place and two third-place awards (in different categories) at the European Ballet Grand Prix in Vienna, Austria, over the past three years. One of their greatest accomplishments came last year at the semi-finals of the Youth America Grand Prix in Vicenza, Italy, through which they qualified for the finals in Tampa.
We at the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation extend our heartfelt congratulations to the young ballerinas, along with their mentors and teachers from “Bullfrogs Ballet School,” for their achievements.
We hope they continue to represent Macedonian ballet art with pride. Our support for these cultural and artistic “ambassadors” will remain unwavering.
