The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation, in addition to the charitable nature of its existence and activities, as well as the achievement of program goals and tasks that serve the development of culture, sports, education, youth, the civil sector, public health, the environment, etc., financially supports initiatives and projects that have an impact on the promotion of social values, especially those that are essentially reflected in the name of the foundation. In this direction is the Financial Support for the implementation of the AINK project (Albanian Input for National Cohesion), an initiative to strengthen public discourse, reduce polarization, and encourage interethnic cohesion through innovative digital media formats. This project directly aligns with the foundation’s mission in promoting democratic values, active citizenship, and the development of an informed and inclusive public.
Considering the strain of the public space in North Macedonia with a series of deviations that undermine social cohesion, the AINK project, through short video analyses and commentaries on current political, social, and socio-economic topics, offers citizens credible, accessible, and relevant content with an argumentative and inclusive discourse. Key thematic areas of the project are: the rule of law, European integration, social processes, dealing with disinformation, and building interethnic trust and dialogue.
The project began on April 1 and will run until October 1, with 48 video reels to be broadcast during this period. Each month, eight reels will be produced via Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, of which five will be in Macedonian and three will be in Albanian. The author and presenter of AINK is the famous Macedonian writer and columnist of Albanian nationality, Ramadan Ramadani.
The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation, as a financial supporter of the project, hopes that the main goals of AINK will be achieved, such as increasing the availability of credible and analytical content in the digital space, encouraging informed and reasoned public debate, reducing the impact of disinformation and polarizing narratives, and strengthening interethnic cohesion. Our foundation would not be what it is if it did not remain true to its aspirations towards a democratic and better society.
