For many years, the “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation has supported numerous Macedonian civic associations and their activities in various areas of great importance to our society. This is especially true for initiatives and projects dedicated to environmental protection.

Our foundation also sponsored the Underwater Activities Club “Ezerski Puls” from Struga in organizing the fourth consecutive eco-event to clean the underwater and coastal areas of Lake Ohrid in Struga, which took place on May 31. As in previous years, this event once again brought together numerous diving clubs from across the country, as well as participants from friendly neighboring countries. According to information received from “Ezerski Puls”, more than 100 participants took part in the event, including 29 divers from Serbia, 8 from Croatia, divers from nine Macedonian diving clubs, as well as numerous volunteers, supporters, and nature enthusiasts. During the action, participants removed approximately eight cubic meters of waste from the lakebed and coastal zone.

In addition to its direct environmental impact, the event also contributed to raising public awareness about nature protection, promoting volunteerism and social responsibility, strengthening cooperation among diving clubs in the region, and encouraging environmental values among younger generations.

“With your support, we sent a strong message that caring for the environment is a shared responsibility of all of us, and that significant results can be achieved through partnerships between the civil sector, companies, and institutions,” states, among other things, the letter of appreciation sent by “Ezerski Puls” to our foundation.

The “ZAEV – One Society for All” Foundation will continue to support initiatives and actions led by associations committed to a cleaner environment, with the hope that other socially responsible entities will join us in this partnership and shared mission.
