The United Nations is celebrating this year’s World Humanity Day on August 19 under the banner “It takes a village,” which is related with the adage “It takes a village to raise a child.” The profundity of the metaphor that appears in the campaign’s name suggests that there is more public awareness of humanitarian efforts worldwide. We can all be human if we bring out the human in each of us. We require one another now more than ever.
In honor of World Humanity Day, the “Zaev – One Society for All” Foundation donated 100,000 denars to “SOS Children’s Village” and 100,000 denars to the families of the four Prilep houses that were recently burned down by lightning, starting from its goals and principles of being a “hand out” to those who need it.
